Inspired by sunshine, seashells and brightly colored beach towels, join us as we celebrate Summer and coastal living with a cheery and nautical themed nursery design board for a baby girl.
A large woven rug in bright colored stripes, reminiscent of a beach towel, is the focal point of the design while a modern lamp adds some unexpected flare. Additional lighting is provided by a funky aqua glass floor lamp.
An intricate seashell mirror adorns the coral walls. This PB mirror is pretty pricey but affordable options can be easily found on etsy.com. Or how about making this a handmade project and creating a seashell mirror yourself using this tutorial.
Small die-cut seahorses make the most adorable accessories. You can use a few of these to make an underwater crib mobile or use lots of them and create a fun arrangement on the wall behind the crib.
A modern white crib and an elegant rocker*, for a hint of sophistication, complete the room.
