More design goodness from Sweden! Jaws dropped over Elin’s bohemian chic toddler room yesterday — and I hope you’ve come prepared to be dazzled once again by the design sensibilities of Swedish mama of two, Helena of Craft & Creativity!

Child’s name: Annie
Child’s age: 7 (she’s 5 in the pictures)
Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Annie’s room has a pink theme with white ceiling and floor, which we painted when we moved in. The butterfly wallpaper is from Pip Studio. Both my girls love to play in this room since it’s quite spacious and the large window lets in plenty of light. We built a miniature kitchen in a corner of the room, with shelving for the kitchen utensils and pretty boxes. Our house was built in 1947 and we moved in three years ago.

Inspiration for the room:
Cath Kidston, Pip Studio, GreenGate. I also take a lot of inspiration from reading interior magazines and reading blogs.

Describe your decorating style:
I would say it’s a pretty romantic style, with white as a neutral base and adding a lot of happy colors and patterns to create a joyful place.

Room resources:
The desk is from a Swedish furniture store called Mio Möbler. The chair is from Ikea and the desk lamp is from Lisbeth Dahl. The bunk bed has been in the family for a long time and we painted it white.

Favorite items:
The bed, since it’s perfect for building huts and very convenient when the girls have friends for sleep overs. I’m also very fond of details like the desk lamp and the wooden toys shaped like cakes and cupcakes for example. Annie loves her chalkboard where she writes messages.
