Design Advice for Decorating a Shared Kids Rooms

One of the toughest rooms to design is a shared room. You want it to be attractive, but it still needs to store all your little ones bits and pieces! The rooms end up being a bit of a mish-mash as each child brings in pieces from their existing room.

As I prepare to design a room for my boys to share (and I’ll share with you some of my thoughts on the design over the coming months), I thought I’d share with you some of my favorite shared kids’ spaces I’ve found.

  1. Love the inspiration! Living in California i get a lot of clients who need to (for space reasons) have their kids share a room. It is especially hard to design a room when there is a boy and girl but these are great ideas. Thanks for the great photos!
