It may not feel like Spring just yet but before you know it the trees will be filled with leaves and flowers will be blooming. And the truth is I can’t wait! Not only because of the weather and beautiful flowers, but also because this means I get to enjoy brunch once more. It’s not as fun in frigid temperatures, don’t you agree?
Inspired by the upcoming season (and Easter!) I created my Ultimate Easter/Sunday Brunch Table Setting – it’s chic and cheap, just the way we like.
Using some things that I already had in my home (like the place mats, cloth napkins, silverware and stemware) and a few goodies I picked up at Target, I put together this floral-themed brunch table setting that has been a hit – even with my 4-year old!
My inspiration for this table started with the scalloped floral salad plates and the scalloped dinner plates I found at Target (can you believe they’re plastic?). A few aisles later I stumbled upon the peony floral table arrangement (which will be residing in my living room when not in use at the table) and decided on a stoneware cake stand to give the arrangement some height.
Last but not least, I decided to fold my cloth napkins into roses to continue the floral theme throughout. Luckily, this tutorial really helped me pull that off. It was surprisingly simple!
It’s Time for Springtime.
