This closet door makeover from BHG is genius! The old closet doors were replaced with new panels cut and painted to resemble an armoire. Pretty, no?

I’ve been a big fan of Sweetopia since first coming across her blog early last year. She’s incredibly talented and I wasn’t surprised at all to find out that she was the creative mind behind these cute Paris themed cookies. They’re perfect for a baby shower or birthday party!

Swoon! This baby girl nursery spotted on Rickshaw Design — designed by Jeffers Design Group — is too cute! We love the pom poms over by the window seat, the Jonathan Adler zebra rug ($1,000 — yikes! but check out this DIY if you’re interested in making a similar one yourself) and the playful mix of fabric patterns. And check out those shelves! They look expensive though :(

Handmade is awesome! Get a load at this paper chandelier from Perpetual Motion Decor ($28)—that makes a great mobile or focal point for the nursery. It has 480 hand punched card stock circles which hang on a circular ribbon wrapped frame.

And last but certainly not least, we have this super adorable elephant cake made by Hello Naomi. Naomi is based in Australia and I’ve been a big fan since we first featured this Striped Pool Party. Naomi is an engineer turned uber talented cake decorator — and I highly recommend taking a gander at her blog and checking out all of her beautiful creations.

Here’s a fun pregnancy photo idea from Deana Johnson Photography! It’s so important to document those nine months of pregnancy — since they slip by so fast. This bubble-gum-popping pose is a must-try if you’re planning on taking a few shots to document your growing bump.

Kids have a lot of stuff. So the goal of this design is to keep things simple — and uncluttered!

I hope she likes it! Do you?

Before design this room, I spoke with Jessica and she told me that she had already purchased the Oeuf Perch Bunk Bed ($1,500) and the Oeuf Classic Crib ($940) — great choices! And her modern choice of furniture sent me on my way…

As a New York City dweller, I know all too well that small apartments in NY are much smaller than anywhere else — so I wanted to keep the space as simple as possible. Too many things on the walls of a small room can make it feel like it’s closing in on you. I selected three Vintage Modern Inspired 12″ Wooden Letters ($18 each) to place near the bed of each child — to personalize their space.

They’ll need some storage, as well as a changing area for baby — so I selected the inexpensive Ikea Expedit ($40). It’s cheap, modern and it’ll get the job done. A changing pad can be placed — and secured! — on the top, while bins containing diapering essentials and clothing changes (top two openings) and toys for the bigger kids (one for each) can be place on the bottom.

Chevron Zig Zag Curtains ($40 per panel) and a super retro-modern Artecnica Themis Mobile ($30) bring in some fun — with bold graphic patterns and lots of color. While a Baxton Studio Cradle Chair ($132) adds a modern place to sit, feed and bond. Add a soft rug, Ikea Flokati ($80), for everyone to enjoy some tummy time together!
