Dark and Colorful Baby Nursery

I’m totally smitten with this colorful {yet dark} nursery. I love the drama of the black walls and how this new mom brought in the fun with colorful accent pieces. The pom poms and wall flowers make what would otherwise be a “flat” room POP, and the chalkboard area behind the changing table is genius! The crochet mobile and baby blanket were both made by the new mama, but my favorite item in the room? The Anthropologie rug! I’ve loved it since the first time I laid eyes on it and I’m so thrilled to see it in this nursery. It belongs there.

DIY: Modern and Affordable Potato Print Artwork

Artwork can be pricey. But you know that already.

You know who else knows that? Jordan of Oh Happy Day.

She’s spending a year with her husband and two sons in France, which means that spending a ton of money on art for their apartment is NOT an option. But Jordan is resourceful and creative, and she whipped up these contemporary {and fun!} pieces for her living room that I think could also work wonderfully in a modern nursery.
