Putting together a baby registry can be overwhelming, especially with all the options available. My husband and I have been parents for less than two weeks, but here are six items I couldn’t live without and would highly recommend adding to your registry.

Gerber’s Cloth Diapers ($20) are thick and absorbent, which means they make great burp cloths too! You’ll need plenty and luckily they come in packs of 10.
My Boppy Nursing Pillow ($40, includes slip cover) has quickly become my best friend. Not only is it a huge help when learning to nurse, it’s also a soft seat for mom after giving birth.
Our portable changing pad ($15) makes it easy to change Hannah’s diaper no matter where we are, and because it’s waterproof and wipeable, mid-diaper change pees (there have been more than a few) are no big deal.
Ah, the Comfy Time Bouncer ($40). When you need both hands, or just want to take a shower, this chair makes it possible. Definitely a must-have for new parents.
Our newborn sleeps best when swaddled tightly but she’s already strong enough to free her arms from even our best swaddling attempts. The velcro on these Swaddle Me Blankets (2 for $20) ensures she stays snug, plus they’re easy to put on and come in tons of cute and colors and patterns.
We received an Aden + Anais Muslin Blanket as a shower gift and it’s quickly become our go-to, go-anywhere blanket. I especially love that it’s so light and breathable during the summer heat.
