We’ve all been hit hard by the YouTube sensation “What Does The Fox Say?” But kids in particular seem to be huge fans of the catchy tune. So when when I stumbled across a children’s book based on the viral video during a recent trip to Toys R Us, I knew I was way overdue for a fox-inspired finds post.

Jessica Alba can now add stroller designer to her very long list of achievements. The mom of two launched her eco-conscious company, The Honest Company, back in 2012 — offering non-toxic diapers and wipes, as well as cleaning and bath & body products for baby. Now, Alba has partnered with Baby Jogger to create a designer stroller that will be available exclusively through TheHonestCompany.com.
The award-winning City Mini GT ($369) is the ultimate stroller that blends safety, design, simplicity, and beauty with all-terrain capabilities and deluxe standard features in a chic compact package. After my last post on spots & dots, I thought I should show you one of my current obsessions: GEO!
As I mentioned, I’m slightly over chevron so triangles and geometric shapes are a great alternative.

Are you seeing spots? You aren’t alone! 2012 saw chevron everywhere (yes, I’m slightly over it) so what do you think will be the chevron of 2013? In my opinion, you are going to be seeing polka dots and geometric prints everywhere. I’m sure you have started to notice the trend!
I love spots. They can be gender neutral for those of you that are planning a nursery or they can be used when transitioning your little one to their first big boy/girl room as they aren’t too babyish and not to grown up.
Dots aren’t a trend to use on every surface, but check out my finds to see some items I think would really set off a room design.
1. Paint palette linen 2. Neon spot cushions 3. Dotty blanket 4. Mini pom pom garland
5. Multi spots removable wallpaper 6. Mini Dot Rug 7. Neon mobile 8. Smartie pillow slip
Spoonflower, one of our favorite places to shop for unique, quality fabrics online, recently hosted a contest asking designers to create fabrics with both lions and lambs — signature animals of March— and the submissions were gorgeous.
Check out the top ten designs on the Spoonflower contest page. We can visualize pretty much all of these fabrics in a nursery or kids room — on accent pillows, as window treatments, or even crib bedding.
It may not feel like Spring just yet but before you know it the trees will be filled with leaves and flowers will be blooming. And the truth is I can’t wait! Not only because of the weather and beautiful flowers, but also because this means I get to enjoy brunch once more. It’s not as fun in frigid temperatures, don’t you agree?
Inspired by the upcoming season (and Easter!) I created my Ultimate Easter/Sunday Brunch Table Setting – it’s chic and cheap, just the way we like.
