Last week I shared with you Max’s Naming Day party and the nursery inspiration board it inspired. Well, Max recently turned 1 and you know Sarah from Style Me Gorgeous threw a to-die-for bash to celebrate the occasion!
I love the vintage tricycle and kite theme. It makes it a party that children and adults can both enjoy.

I came across these pictures from Max’s Naming Day, designed by this lucky boy’s very talented Aussie mom*, on one of my favorite design sites that just so happens to be written by another talented Aussie.
I love how the sky blue and light gray color palette is brought to life with splashes of yellow. This is a gorgeous party to draw inspiration from for your baby shower. And it could easily be translated into a nursery as well… I think I just got an idea for my next inspiration board!
If I ever move out of New York City… I’m moving to Australia.
Seriously.

I love pom poms.
I’d hang them in every room in my house if I could.
They’re the perfect hanging decor for a nursery or for a baby shower. They’re light weight and inexpensive and will make you think happy thoughts whenever you see them.

I’m always on the hunt for beautiful things on the web. They’re my biggest inspiration. And I recently come upon this gorgeous gray and yellow baby shower hosted for Rachelle, the owner of Chelle Paperie, by her business partner Katie.
Katie took her inspiration from prints by Amy Butler and created the invitations and paper goods with cute gray bunnies and yellow floral designs.
