A stylish and fun big boy room, a welcoming rainbow of colors for the home, a paper mache unicorn, a wooden name sign for baby, and a grocery store birthday party or play date idea!
A stylish and fun big boy room! Featured in the Dutch website 101woonideeen, this aviation/airplane themed bedroom has all the elements of a kids’ room that we love—it’s functional, stylish and space-savvy! With lots of creative details (like the chicken wire armoire doors and the toddler bed/desk) and a few unexpected items (like the yellow school chair and industrial lamp), this toddler room is sure to inspire.
A welcoming rainbow of colors! Give your front door a colorful facelift with this inspired wooden welcome mat idea for Lowe’s. This DIY mat is also perfect for renters, as it allows you to inject a little color and style to the exterior of your home without the “permanency” of other painting projects.
A paper mache animal head tutorial! Lil Blue Boo is our new favorite site—and we discovered it thanks to this unicorn paper mache tutorial. Paper mache animal heads are “hot” right now, but what if you can’t afford to purchase one? Or what if you can’t find the animal you like? Make one!
A wooden name sign for the nursery! In our humble opinion, personalized items are always welcome in a nursery or toddler room. Check out this wooden name sign – in cursive ($60) from Etsy seller Decky Decor to add a personalized touch to your baby’s nursery. And these also make great baby gifts, don’t you think?
A grocery store birthday party or play date idea! A clever and creative little party idea for toddlers that love to pretend, this Grocery Store-themed party by Paper & Cake (featured on HWTM Blog) is one that you do NOT want to miss. And all the entire party printable collection—including the food labels—is available at the Paper & Cake shop for about $19!
