Baby proofing can be a tedious and confusing process and I’m always on the look out for items that can make life with baby a little bit easier {that won’t be an eye sore!}.
Earlier this month I had the opportunity to participate in a baby proofing webinar hosted by Munchkin with child safety expert Debra Holtzman, author of The Safe Baby.
She offered the following tips for baby proofing your home but reminded us that nothing compares to a parent’s watchful eye:
– Place decorative plants that are non-toxic {consider spider plants, they can even improve the quality of the air}
– Install hardware mounted baby gates at the top and bottom of stairs.
– Pressure safety gates are for less hazardous places like separating adjoining rooms and in hallways.
– Consider cordless window blinds.
– Tie-up loose cords.
After purchasing the UK’s #1 brand for baby proofing, Munchkin is now providing a line of top selling, safe and stylish baby gates in the US market.
Built to the highest quality standards and rigorously tested to meet or exceed both U.S. and European safety standards, Munchkin’s new safety gates are also aesthetically pleasing and come in a wide range of measurements, price points, styles and mounting types.
Finally! Safety without sacrificing style!
