Cupcakes are the ultimate birthday treat. You can decorate them with icing or cupcake toppers to match with the party theme—and there’s no need for the cake cutting hassle. One trend we have seen on the rise is creating themed cakes from cupcakes for a mouth-watering dessert table feature.
This colorful Fish Cupcake Cake (click on the link for a tutorial) is perfect for a summer birthday celebration—like an Under the Sea themed party! Something like this is perfect for celebrating your kiddo’s birthday at day camp or a birthday pool party.
Caterpillar-themed parties are extremely popular for one and two-year-olds—and we can’t think of a more appropriate/fun birthday cake idea than this Very Hungry Caterpillar Cupcake Cake for a Caterpillar-inspired celebration. “On my birthday, the caterpillar mommy ate through 3 cupcakes.”
Hoo’s having a party? Owls are always trending when it comes to kids’ decor, fashions or parties. Kids love owlies—and so does mama! These Night Owl Cupcakes & Cake could be the perfect dessert for an owl-themed birthday celebration or a back-to-school party.
