You’re so glamorous, baby! Glamor is not one of the first things that comes to mind when you think ‘nursery’ — especially if you’re thinking about a baby boy’s room. But new mom Maria Fe of Hello Jack is sharing her nursery with us to prove that you can design a cozy and warm nursery with a modern glam touch for a boy — and on a budget!

What was your inspiration for the room?
The inspiration for this room was the FermLiving Wilderness wallpaper I always knew I wanted to use. When I found out I was pregnant, I immediately thought the nursery would be the perfect room for it. The entire room palette was developed with this wallpaper in mind.

Describe your decorating style:
The design throughout my house is modern with a pop of color. I wanted to keep the nursery modern as well but add soft touches and textures. The goal was to created a warm, cozy room that would be able to grow with my son Jack.

Favorite Items: My favorite items in Jack’s nursery are those small details that tie room together. My husband has always been a fan of dinosaurs so when we found out we were having a little boy we knew we wanted to incorporate them in his room. We found them at Target for less than a dollar a piece, bought some gold and black spray paint and my husband sprayed them. It was a simple, inexpensive project that has a lot of meaning behind it.

Advice for other moms-to-be in the process of decorating their nursery: Stay true to your style. Don’t worry about trends as the always change. You style and taste will remain even when something new comes along.

We just bought that crib and That eico crib is $595 not $210. I thought i was ripped off when i saw your price but $210 is the toddler conversion kit. I love this room

  @Chris, You’re absolutely right! It doesn’t say anywhere in the product description but after taking a closer look at the pick, it is for the conversion kit. Talk about false advertising. I fixed the link and the price. Thanks for pointing that out!
