I love design-talented women that can translate their style from one area of design to the nest {get it?}. Erika Brechtel is the owner and creative force behind small shop and this is her daughter’s nursery.

Her little girl is almost 2 and Erika wanted to make sure that her daughter’s vibrant personality was incorporated into the space.

Erika’s inspiration for the room started with a trip to the Honolulu Zoo and a stay at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel {check out Erika’s pictures of the hotel. stunning!}.

The Z Gallerie mirror {no longer available. sad face.} and the lucite tray {pictured below} are a few of my favorite items in the room and make it a little less baby and a little more trendy.

A few details…
‘For Like Ever’ poster print: From Village
Window Seat Fabric and Bolsters: Celerie Kemble’s Bleeker in Absinthe
Two petite tiger print pillows: From etsy seller Blue Door Style
Yellow zig zag and smile pillows: From etsy seller Honey Pie Design
Lulu elephant pillow: From Rikshaw Design.
Visit small shop for more images and details on the items found in this pink and yellow safari nursery.

This room is beautiful – I adore the mirror! Who is the crib manufacturer?
Hi Sunny! It’s the Amy Coe Westport Crib from Babies R Us but I can’t find it anywhere on their site. I did find the Westport Collection {crib and changing table} here for $549. Can’t beat that!
Wow, thank you, what a pleasant surprise to see my little girl’s room here!!
Thanks for stopping by Erika! We absolutely LOVE your little girl’s room.
The link for the cheerful blue baby girl nursery is actually another link for the safari room. Just thought I’d let you know!
I located the mirror… Not sure if its the same finish of white.

@Audrey, Hi Audrey! It’s an Amy Coe Westport Crib from Babies R Us but it’s no longer available. Sorry =(
